How refunds work for Vergent HR digital products and custom projects.

Overview

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Vergent HR digital products and custom projects. We want you to get real value from every purchase, so if something is wrong with what you received, we will make it right. Please read this alongside our Terms of Service.

Digital products

Our digital products are delivered instantly and can be downloaded and copied as soon as you buy them. Because of this, all sales of digital products are final once the product has been accessed or downloaded, except in the situations described below.

Before you buy, please review the product description, included assets, and file formats so you know what you are getting. If you are unsure whether a product fits your needs, email us first and we will help.

When we will make it right

We will repair, replace, or refund a digital product in cases such as:

  • The files are corrupted, will not open, or are missing assets that were listed on the product page;
  • You received the wrong product;
  • You were charged more than once for the same Order, or made a clearly accidental duplicate purchase, reported within 14 days.

Our first step is usually to fix the issue or send a working replacement. If we cannot resolve it, we will issue a refund for that product.

How to request help or a refund

Email hello@vergenthr.com within 14 days of your purchase and include your order number, the product name, and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within a few business days.

Custom HR projects

Custom projects are scoped and delivered under a separate project agreement, and refunds for custom work are governed by that agreement rather than this page. As a general approach, deposits reserve our time and are non-refundable once work has begun, and fees for milestones already delivered and approved are non-refundable. If we have not started your project, we will refund your deposit in full.

How refunds are processed

Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record and processes all payments and refunds. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy. Depending on your bank or card provider, it can take several business days for the refund to appear. As merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy may also issue a refund at its discretion to resolve a payment dispute. For billing or payment questions, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy, the seller on record for your Order.

Chargebacks

If you have a problem with an Order, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Opening a chargeback before reaching out can delay a resolution. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks that we believe are made in error or in bad faith.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that Order.
